As critics pan Charlie's Angels reboot, stunning Minka Kelly rides high (on the waves at least...)

On the crest of a wave: Minka Kelly kept smiling today as she practised for her scene despite scathing reviews of her show

Minka Kelly made for a dynamic sight as frolicked on a jetski in Miami today.

The 31-year-old actress was preparing to shoot a scene for the reboot of Charlie's Angels with co-stars Annie Ilonzeh and Rachel Taylor in the Florida state.

But the Californian actress seemed to be having more fun than anyone else, and clearly took to the activity like a duck to water.

Perhaps it was taking the pretty brunette's mind off a choppy few weeks.

Recently she's split from long-term boyfriend Derek Jeter, the show has been badly received by critics and a crew member was sacked for harassing her.

The member of the crew is believed to have approached Minka and slapped her across her bottom while clutching a $100 bill in his hand on August 23.

An set insider told Star magazine: 'It seems like it was meant to be a joke, but clearly it was inappropriate. Minka was shocked and absolutely irate. She was still fuming about it hours later.'

The publication also claimed that when the crew member tried to apologise to Minka the next day, she slapped him across the face.

He was then removed from the production by TV executives the following day.
The source added: 'The whole set was buzzing about the incident. It was quite a scandal. One day he was there, and the next he was gone.'

Minka, who plays Angel Eve French in the show, split from Yankees star Jeter, 37 , after three years and there were rumours of a closeness to co-star Ramon Rodriguez, 31 , who plays Bosley.

But their chemistry has done nothing to improve the reboot's showing with the critics.

The New York Daily News wrote of the series: 'St. Peter himself might not be able to save ABC's new remake of Charlie's Angels.'

It was worse news for Kelly in the Hollywood Reporter though, they wrote: 'It’s beyond heinous. It contains some of the worst acting of the last decade on network television, much of it by Minka Kelly.'
