At ease: Kai Rooney pictured during his first horse riding lesson, that his mother Coleen tweeted
His mother has long been a fixture at Ladies’ Day at Aintree.
And if this flying start is anything to go by, Kai Rooney could one day be among those she watches racing on the other side of the gate.

Proud mother Coleen posted a picture on Twitter of Kai astride the pony in a stable, calling him her ‘little jockey’.

Her post received many admiring replies from fans on Twitter, with one writing: ‘Kai looks so sure of himself sitting there. You would never know it was his first lesson.’
The toddler is already showing early signs of following in his father’s sporty footsteps, and was pictured in July happily splashing around in the water during a holiday in Dubai.

Last month, Coleen posted a photograph on Twitter of Kai at his christening, dressed as the character of Woody from the popular animated Toy Story movie.
