Upstaged: Steven Tyler managed to cake on more make-up than his daughter Liv at the premiere of her new movie Super last night in Hollywood
She's a natural beauty who still looks stunning with minimal make-up.
But last night, as Liv Tyler attended the premiere of her new movie looking fresh faced, it was her father who had managed to cake on the cosmetics.
Posing alongside each other, it was apparent that Aerosmith's Steven was looking far more made up than his own daughter.
The 62-year-old American Idol judge acted up on the red carpet, nuzzling and kissing his 33-year-old daughter who looked demure in a black ensemble.
Liv brought along her rock star father to the Hollywood premiere of indie film Super, which also star Ellen Page.
It is a dark American comedy, directed and written by James Gunn which was shot in less than a month between December 2009 and into the January of the following year.
Classic black: Liv looked stylish and demure in a black ensemble, as did her co-star Ellen Page
Liv, and the rest of the cast, were not paid Hollywood big bucks for the movie, as it was a low-budget movie.
It follows the story of Sarah, played by Tyler, who has an affair with a smooth-talking drug dealer, played by Kevin Bacon.
It prompts her husband, played by Rainn Wilson, to transform into a superhero called The Crimson Bolt.
He is helped by local comic book store worker Libby, played by Ellen Page, as they attempt to bring Jock down.
The film has already premiered at the Toronto Film Festival last September and is release in the U.S. on April 1.

Joining in the fun: Actress Virginia Madsen and comedian Sarah Silverman
