Designer collaboration: Lanvin for H&M t-shirt dress, £29.99, left, tulle dress, £149.99, animal-print coat, £99.99
H&M's new designer collaboration has been causing yet another stir as French couture house Lanvin is the latest to join forces with the High Street chain.
After months of teasers and sneak peeks, the collection has finally been unveiled.
But with some pieces selling as high as £200, not everyone will be able to invest in the exclusive range.
Dresses start at £99.99 and go up to £149.99, bargains as far as designer prices go, but a long way from the affordability that makes H&M so popular.
The 48 piece glamorous collection is nonetheless sure to fly off the rails when it hits 200 stores worldwide on November 23rd as fans queue to get their hands on the colourful collection.
The range also includes men's classics including a tuxedo and tracksuit bottoms.
Burst of colour: Tiered dress, £99.99, green shoes, £69.99, left, floral print dress, £99.99, black courts, £69.99, pink ruffled dress, £99.99
Designer Alber Elbaz has often shied away from collaborations but recently changed his mind:' What does luxury mean today? How can we translate the essence of luxury to a wider audience?
'The world around us is changing rapidly and I find myself asking these questions more and more.
'Designer's work is usually tailored to a very small group of people, but the collection for H&M was about trying to translate the dream of luxury to the masses.'
Mellow yellow: One shoulder dress, £99.99 (also comes in black)
Skirt, £34,99, red courts, £69.99, t-shirt, £24.99, faux-fur jacket, £79.99, left, trousers, £34.99, jacket, £79.99, bow tie, £24.99, right
Lanvin follows in the footsteps of Karl Largerfeld, Stella McCartney, Sonia Rykiel and Jimmy Choo in joining forces with the retail giant, whose cut-price designer collections have proved hugely successful in the past.
Since joining Lanvin in 2001, Alber Elbaz has transformed the Paris-based label, founded in 1889 by Jeanne Lanvin, into a fashion powerhouse.
