Carrie Me! Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss, 43, has a diva in the making with her young daughter


Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss had to carry more than just the ingredients for her evening meal as she left the Farmers Market in Santa Monica.

The 43-year-old mother-of-three had to give a lift to her daughter, born in 2009, in the sort of sling usually used to transport newborns.

The actress has kept a very low profile since she shot to fame in the hugely successful Matrix trilogy back in 1999.

In the popular franchise the star played the sexy role of Trinity, who famously dressed in a PVC jumpsuit - much to the delight of her male admirers.

Other notable roles for the mother-of-three included Chocolat with Johnny Depp, Unthinkable and the critically acclaimed Memento, which earned Moss an Independent Spirit Award.

Independent spirit seems to sum the low-key star perfectly, as she now leads a quiet life with actor husband Steven Roy and her three children.

Her latest film Unthinkable, starring Samuel L Jackson, went straight to DVD, so it seems even her films are keeping a low profile...
