How VERY dare you! Sweet toothed Hugh Jackman swipes a bite of daughter's cookie

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Preparing to pounce: Hugh Jackman watches daughter Ava feasting on a tasty cookie as he walks her home from school in New York yesterday

Judging by the shocked expression on her face, little Ava is not best pleased with her daddy.

The five-year-old was enjoying a munch on a tasty cookie when the Wolverine star swiped it out of her hand and took a cheeky bite.

Australian actor Hugh, 42, took his daughter by surprise, moving in for the kill as they crossed the road.

It's mine: With her scooter in hand, Hugh swipes the biscuit from Ava...

Oh, daddy! He then takes a huge bite as Ava looks on, disgruntled

Wheeling her scooter in one hand, the father of two appeared to enjoy the sweet treat after being spotted eyeing it up just moments before.

Hugh was pictured yesterday afternoon in the West Village area of New York where he picked Ava up from school.

On Tuesday he took Ava out on his birthday along with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and two of their daughter's friends.

Hugh and Deborra are also parents to 10-year-old Oscar. The actor was recently seen spending one-on-one time with his son in Uruguay.

Father and son spent time together in Punte Del Este, where Hugh was filming a commercial for Lipton.

Green Latern star Ryan Reynolds recently spoke out about his admiration for Jackman.
Reynolds worked with Jackman in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, playing the character of Deadpool, who ended up getting his head chopped off.

'Deadpool could beat Wolverine any day. I know it, you know it. Hugh Jackman knows it,' joked 33-year-old Reynolds to the Los Angeles Times.

'Hugh is a great guy. He’s a very classy human being. He sets the bar for being classy in Hollywood.

Birthday boy: Hugh enjoyed turning 42 by spending it with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, his daughter Ava, and a couple of her school chums on Tuesday

'It’s almost mayoral, his approach to Hollywood. It’s as much his job to sign an autograph or take a photo with a fan as it is to blow people away with his performance on screen.

'He could host a master class on how to be a movie star. He’s a tremendous guy and a role model, really.'

Hugh and fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman are among stars being called on by their country to create a secret weapon to win the World Cup football bid.

Soccer chief Frank Lowy who is one of Australia's richest men has asked for their help to make a 30-minute video showing what Australia has to offer.

The film is being shot on Bondi Beach and other famous landmarks will be shown to the 24 members of FIFA's executive committee when bidders for 2018 and 2022 make their final presentation in Zurich in December.
