'Get me to make-up!' Amanda Holden hides war paint-free face... but gets her glam on later for Britain's Got Talent auditions

Don't look at me! Amanda Holden scowls as she is caught on camera without any make-up on as she arrived at her Manchester hotel for the northern leg of the Britain's Got Talent auditions


For a woman who's on the verge of turning 40, Amanda Holden could easily pass for someone younger.

However, she's clearly not a woman who can face the world without her war paint on, as she proved to everyone last night.

The pregnant actress looked horrified as she came face-to-face with the cameras at a Manchester hotel yesterday without a scrap of make-up on.


This way, Miss Holden: Amanda is sheltered by the hotel staff as she is accompanied from her car


Dressed in a grey tracksuit, a long camel coat and woollen grey Ugg boots, she pulled up her hood and pulled an umbrella down over her head as she dashed past the flashbulbs.

Even though Holden, who turns 40 next month, looked pretty good to us, she clearly had other ideas.

She turned her back and dashed inside the hotel, being careful not to show her face as she made her way inside the hotel ahead of recording of today's audition stage in the northern city.

Of course, she might have wanted to hide her burgeoning baby bump, having gone to great lengths to keep it under wraps lately.

But it was hardly surprising as she is excited but also nervous about this pregnancy, which she didn't announced until she was six months gone.

Amanda, who is due to give birth to her second child, a boy, in March, admitted that she kept it quiet after she revealed that she lost her unborn baby last year, just a fortnight before the live finals of the last series of the talent show.
