'It's all innocent': Selena Gomez denies romance with Justin Bieber after 'cuddly' breakfast at pancake house

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Perfect match? Selena Gomez at the Miami Jingle Ball last night while Justin Bieber performed at the Illinois Jingle Bash

'It was pancakes. Who doesn't like pancakes?' the Wizards of Waverly Place star told MTV News.

It looked like a match made in teen pop heaven, but Selena Gomez insists she's not in a romance with Justin Bieber.

The young singers sparked rumours last week after they were spotted having breakfast together at an IHop pancake restaurant in Philadelphia.

Onlookers said they were holding hands and looking 'cuddly' as they shared meal in a corner booth and they were photographed leaving the eatery arm-in-arm.

But the 18-year-old has denied love was in the air.

Selena claims it was merely a matter of being in the same place at the same time.
'We were both performing in the same place so we went and had pancakes together.' she added.

'That's all it is. All innocent.'

The pair, who were both on stage at different events last night, were also seen sharing the sweet treats before their appearance at the Jingle Ball in New York on Wednesday.

The stars have known each other for a number of years and Selena has previously said that they feel more like siblings.

'I feel like a big sister now, 'cause I want to protect him. So I'm always very cautious with him, but he is so talented and he's so sweet,' she has said. Now he's just become one of my good friends.'

The 16-year-old singer has also been linked to another Disney actress - Jasmine Villegas.

The That's So Raven star appeared on the video for Justin's smash hit Baby and the pair had a secret meeting in Atlanta late last month.

Justin was spotted kissing the brunette on her recent video shoot and in the back of a car back in September.
