Looking just like sisters! Heather Locklear and daughter Ava glam it up on the red carpet

She may be 49 years old but Heather Locklear can still give her teenage daughter Ava a run for her money in the glamour stakes.

The Melrose Place star looked more like her 13-year-old daughter's older sister than her mother as they attended the WTB Spring fashion show in Hollywood last night.

But while Ava covered up her long legs in a pair of skinny black jeans, Heather showed off her perfect legs in a grey miniskirt and knee high black boots.

Ava, who is already carving out a career as a model, sported a rather more edgy look with multi-coloured braided hair and a sheer black top.


As she was: Locklear, aged 20, during her Dynasty days, resembles Ava, 13


At the age of 13, Ava has started to look just like Locklear did as a young actress when she appeared in TV shows such as Dynasty.

She later sashayed down the WTB catwalk at the event in front of Heather and her dad Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, who was also there last night to cheer his daughter on.

Locklear, who is now said to be dating singer and actor Jack Wagner, divorced Sambora in 2007 after more than ten years of marriage.

After a rocky year, Locklear last night. looked happy and healthy.

She will soon be shooting the Lifetime original movie He Loves Me, a psychological thriller to air next year.

'She had a great, great summer and now she's really looking forward to starting on the movie,' a friend told People.


Back in April, Locklear was arrested on suspicion of hit and run after a no parking sign near the gated community in which she lives was knocked over leaving vehicle debris.

Her car was spotted entering the community showing matching damage.

No charges were filed due to insufficient evidence however a short time after the incident Locklear checked herself into in-patent rehab for treatment for addiction to prescription drugs, checking out earlier this summer.
