Clawfully good-looking: Anne Hathaway showed off the wonderful form that landed her the part of Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises during filming in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

It looks like glamorous Anne Hathaway is definitely the top cat on the set of The Dark Knight Rises.

The actress showed off her perfect legs as she prowled around in a tiny pair of sports shorts between takes.

And the star, who is playing Catwoman in next year's most hotly-tipped blockbuster, definitely did not look like she was overindulging in the cream as she looked in tip-top shape.

Anne, who was wearing heavy make-up, she chatted with a member of the production staff while she stretched her legs during a spot of down time.

It looks like the Oscars hostess has been working hard to get in shape for her role as high-kicking thief Selena Kyle in the final part of Christopher Nolan's hit trilogy.

A source told the Mail: 'Anne is working out five days a week. She's taking it very seriously and wants her body in tip-top condition.

'Secretly she hopes to upstage Halle Berry, who last played Catwoman.

'She's doing dance classes, weight-training and cardio - she wants to be the sexiest Catwoman ever.'

She is playing Miranda Tate in the film, an ally of Bruce Wayne's who works on the board of his company.

Although the ladies on set provided the glamour, it was the stunt men who generated the excitement.

One was seen shooting down a set of stairs in a exotically-designed motorbike during one of the more thrilling moments of the day.

The Dark Knight Rises also stars Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine and is set to be released in July 2012.

The provocative images of Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau, who is tipped as the next big thing on the fashion scene, are causing a storm of controversy with campaigners furious that a child so young should be displaying the sexual allure of someone twice her age.

Thylane has appeared in numerous campaigns and her image is all over the internet.

To date she has an impressive portfolio - the French girl has graced the cover of Vogue Enfants and posed for high-end editorials.

Born in the Ivory Coast, she has already been compared to Sixties siren Brigitte Bardot - who at the age of 15 appeared in ELLE.

But these latest images, complete with heavy make-up and stiletto heels, which appear in French magazine Cadeaux, have brought the issue to a head.

They come in the wake of a recent Government initiative in the UK to enforce restrictions on the sexualisation of children in the media and sexual content in advertising.

Reg Bailey, Chief Executive of the Mothers' Union, was commissioned to conduct the independent review on the pressures faced by children today.



Lost society: In the Bailey review a survey revealed that 88 per cent of parents agreed that children are under pressure grow up too quickly, with 58 per cent accounting this to celebrity culture


A spokesperson for the Mothers' Union told MailOnline: 'We have grave concerns about the modelling agency who represent Blondeau, which clearly does not know if it represents a child or an adult.

'Photo shoots requiring her, a 10-year-old-girl, to dress in full make-up, teetering heels and a dress with a cleavage cut to the waist across her pre-pubescent body deny Blondeau the right to be the child she is.

'These images would, we hope, post Bailey Review, not pass through the standards of magazines, on street advertising and other media within the UK.'

So the news teen sensation Justin Bieber is auctioning a pair of his worn Supra trainers for charity should have been enough to kick off a bidding frenzy.

Bieber Fever has failed to take hold however, as just four bids have been made despite the lot being open since July 19.

Charity auction website charitybuzz.com will be hoping there will be a last minute stampede to land the unique item, as the proceeds are being used to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.

One crumb of comfort for auction organisers is the fact $900 has already been bid for the sweaty sneakers, which is nothing to be sniffed at.

The three children Prince, Paris and Blanket were seen having a blast on the rides and walking around the park together.

They spent the day with their cousins Jaafar, Jermagesty and a few friends.

Prince even brought along his girlfriend Niki Berger. They looked a happy pair, holding hands and walking between the rides together.

Since their father the King of Pop died of 25 June 2009 aged 50, their family has been working to make their lives as normal as possible.

Just over two months after the death of Grease star Jeff Conaway, another cast member has passed away.

Annette Charles, who played racy Cha Cha DiGregorio, died last night at her home in Los Angeles.

The brunette beauty was 63-years-old and had been suffering from cancer.


The actress is most famous for her role alongside John Travolta in the movie Grease


Cha Cha was the girl who stole Danny Zucco (John Travolta) from Sandy (Olivia Newton John) half way through the film.

Before her role in Grease, Annette had a highly successful television career appearing in several long running series in the 1970s including Emergency! Barnaby Jones and The Bionic Woman.

After retiring from acting in 1978, she became a teacher and taught at the California State University in Northridge.

'It feels like there's no pressure - at first I was a bit stand-offish and I was like "hold on" - I was scared of love after for better for worse.'

Houghton met Reid at - ironically - the Fate Awards in Belfast on April 15 - just days after she split from TV presenter Rav Wilding following a five month romance.

Something old, something borrowed: Allison Shellito wore her great-great grandmother's dress for her wedding day - and it was still in almost perfect condition 127 years after it was first worn

On Allison Rinaldi’s wedding day she didn’t have to think twice about what her 'something old’ would be.

For even before her husband popped the question she knew when she said I do she would be wearing a wedding dress that had been in her family for 127 years.

Bought in 1884 for her great-great-grandmother’s wedding day, it has since been worn by her grandmother, aunt and mother too.

'I always knew I wanted to wear the dress,' 23-year-old Alison said.

'I even tried it on when I was a little girl.

'Not only did I think it was beautiful but I loved the sense of history which came along with it too and I am such a family kind of girl it meant a lot for me to carry on the tradition.


Memories: Allison's mother Mimii also wore the dress on her wedding day in 1982 when she married Jack. 'It looked as stunning on Allison as it had so many years before when I wore it,' she said


'My mum and grandma would always talk about what an amazing wedding days they had had while wearing it, so I thought it would bring me luck if I did too.

'And I was right as our wedding day was perfect and wearing the dress made it even more special.'

It was on June 11th this year when graphic designer Allison married graduate student Chris Rinaldi in St Louis, wearing the same dress as three generations of her women in her family had worn before her.

And there to prepare her as she squeezed into her historic dress was mum Mimi, 55, who had worn the very same dress 29 years before on the 5th June 1982.
