She stunned fans last month when she revealed she had hacked off her own hair for her role in upcoming movie Gimme Shelter.

Since then, Vanessa Hudgens has tried to get round her 'soccer mom' crop by sporting a series of different wigs.

Yesterday, the 22-year-old actress stepped out with a sleek black bob as she went shopping with her sister Stella in Los Angeles.

And High School Musical starlet Vanessa looked delighted with her new 'do, smiling for the cameras as she indulged in some retail therapy.

Wearing a grey tribal-print maxi dress and black hat, Vanessa teamed her outfit with several long beaded necklaces and black boots.

Deciding to have some fun with the paparazzi, Vanessa also turned her hand to photography, trying to snap the photographers with her own camera as she left the store.

Earlier in the week, Vanessa was seen out and about with long black hair, after apparently donning a wig or temporary hair extensions to get around her crop.

The actress told Access Hollywood recently that she wasn't a fan of her movie look.

She said: 'Honestly, I kind of feel like a soccer mom, but we're going to let that go.

'There's nothing wrong with soccer moms, but I'm only 22! I miss my hair, believe me, I do, but there's nothing I can do about it.'

So you couldn't really blame Kim Kardashian for taking the opportunity to parade both to full effect for a new magazine photo shoot.

The 30-year-old reality star showed off her hourglass shape in an array of sexy outfits, including an all-in-one lace bodysuit complete with sky high Christian Louboutin black heels.

The photographs, which Kim posted on her website, were filmed for World's Most Beautiful magazine in a disused mining town in the California desert by her favourite photographer Nick Saglimbeni.

They new publication, which hits U.S. news stands on Thursday, will be 'the world's first 3-D magazine,' according to Kim.

'So you need 3-D glasses to see the photos! How cool is that!?' she wrote. 'I’m The World’s First 3D Magazine Cover Girl!'

And she certainly seemed to enjoy her shoot, posting several behind-the-scenes shots on her site including her getting her makeup done, and examining the finished shots.

'Nick Saglimbeni came up with the idea and we had the most amazing shoot out in the desert with all kinds of stunning outfits. I love the black lace body suit! I’m going to make that image my Twitter background!!'

The photographs show Kim in a variety of revealing outfits, with the cover shot featuring the star in a miniskirt made up of black ribbons, a black bra and a beige jacket.

Another stunning picture features her in a sheer black outfit with metal detail on the shoulders and front.

The pop star admitted she found it incredibly moving to see Egyptian women wearing burkas singing along to her female empowerment song Irreplaceable - while many of their male partners standing nearby were obviously unamused.

She tells the September issue of the magazine: 'There were a lot of women in the audience in burkas. They were singing along to Irreplaceable – it was amazing!

He watches amazed in a YouTube clip as a giant face morphs through the dark sky, moved by heavy winds.

As the camera shakes and Mr Farmer pans to his surroundings, he returns to the formation to find it quickly dissipating.

She replied: You know, most things are like dogs, you know, they're more afraid of you than you are of them and I don't find that.

'Then it turned out that it was in the press, it was like this huge blowout, but it was really only like ten people, but I was like, okay, that's fine.'

The Desperate Housewives actress, 36 , and Penelope's younger brother have been dating since early this year, not long after Eva's divorce from ex-husband Tony Parker was finalised.

But that wonderful hair was free again after the couple changed their clothes to take Leo on a stroll of the surrounding countryside, this time Penelope in vibrant green and Javier in blue.

The couple are based in both Madrid and Los Angeles, but Penelope has spent much time in Italy recently while she shoots a new Woody Allen film in Rome.
